About

Hello there!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I hope you will find this site helpful and inspiring whether you are a teacher looking for a deeper way to connect with your craft or you are a Tarotist interested in viewing the cards from an educational perspective.

My name is Amy and I have been an 8th grade English teacher for almost a decade. I would love the opportunity to take you on a "teacher's journey." Following the Major Arcana, I will discuss how I started my career as an idealistic and somewhat naive young adult who has become a seasoned veteran, yet still very much a lifelong learner. I have been working with the Tarot for over a decade as a tool for navigating this crazy little thing called life. But I have recently felt a calling to use the Tarot to help me on my journey as a teacher as well as a way for me to help others on their own paths.

This page is intended for novice and advanced readers alike. My ultimate goal is to teach other educators to use the Tarot as a way to further improve and gain deeper insights into their roles as teachers. Teaching, like studying Tarot, is a lifelong journey. You will never get to a point when you feel you have all of the answers. But that is the thrill of it all! I became a teacher because I loved being a student. My desire to learn and to continue to grow has propelled me in all that I do. I hope this site helps to reignite the passion for learning, growing, and teaching which is needed for sustaining your career as a teacher!

 Here are my goals:
  • To help you learn the Major Arcana through the lens of an educator
  • To teach you Tarot spreads that will give you deeper insight and guidance into the issues you face as an educator
  • To create a space that provides Tarot reading advice and teaching advice in a positive, warm, and humorous way
This site is intended to be of service to my fellow educators, so please feel free to contact me with any feedback or questions so that I can continue to develop content that will help us to become the best educators we can be!

Thank you very much.

All my best,

Amy
